I was born and raised in Williamsburg, VA, but moved to the beautiful state of Arkansas in August of 1998 where I have been a resident of the Conway Area since 2002. I am happily married to Brent Newsom in 2009, and we have two adorable children, Kenny and Kendalyn. My love for Christ and God's created beauty in nature inspired me to become a photographer at a young age. I started by taking my sister's engagement photos with a Kodak point and shoot camera, and fell in love with the process ever since.
Getting to know the individuals or families that I work with is such a blessing. Photographs should not be surface level 2D items that we place on a wall, rather, they should be images that connect the subject to whomever is viewing it. Using my camera, I try to steal a moment in time and capture it for a lifetime, but in order to do that, I have to connect with you first.
